Breast Augmentation
The augmentation should lead to a natural result like a grown juvenile breast. The material used must be suited to this purpose. Dr. Blaschke prefers silicone implants which allow placement under muscle and breast gland alike. This provides good cleavage and projection as well as sufficient cover of the prosthesis.
Three access incisions are popular. Dr Blaschke will give you an extensive choice of implants and incision types so you will be able to tailor your surgery to best match your needs.

The Procedure
The operation is performed under general anaesthesia. Careful measurement is important. The incision is as short as ever possible. An exact pouch is formed and the implant is inserted. A shaping dressing is applied. After a night in a private hospital under our care, the dressing is changed to a light wound cover. A sports bra has to be worn for 3 weeks to keep the implant safely in place. You will be seen for regular checks by Dr. Blaschke and his team. The stitch is resorbable. You should be able to return to work within days, but lifting or carrying should be avoided for 3 weeks.
Surgeon’s Remarks
I place great emphasis on achieving a natural juvenile form. This needs a careful preparation of the pouch and particularly elastic implants. This is in contrast to the breast you often see in the illustrated papers with its absurdly artificial shape. If the breast is exposed to the sun on the beach, the periareolar scar can burn and turn red and inflamed, whereas the axillary incision often leads to prolonged pain. Therefore I prefer the inframammary incision.
